I’m John Lindsay and I am an investor, consultant and company director.

I help people build great Internet and technology companies.

I am a director of the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman, the TIO.

And of the international enterprise scale ecommerce hosting company

Ultraserve.

And also of Nano-Nouvelle a nanotech electrode R&D business.

I am a partner in jtwo.solutions Pty Ltd, a Cloud consulting practise.

I am the founder of DigitalGapYear.org which is helping young adults have a productive gap year while they spend some time together learning to collaborate, finding real-world problems to solve, creating digital products and services, earning some income and developing relationships with experienced digital innovators, entrepreneurs and investors around the globe.

I blog about stuff that interests me.

I spent a long time running ISPs including a couple that got really big.

During that time I learnt a lot about building IT & carrier infrastructure including lots of arcane Telecommunications legal and regulatory stuff. If you have are a developer or a non carrier with optical fibre I can help you. If you buy data services or Internet connections I can probably reduce your costs. If you have a pile of servers or VMs I can help you move them to the Cloud.

I am a member of the Australian Computer Society, CommsAlliance and a graduate of the  Australian Institute of Company Directors.

I love the Internet, technology, electric cars and improving businesses.

I love working with smart people who get stuff done.

I understand the minds of geeks and can lead and manage them to produce amazing results.

I have extensive experience buying and selling complex technology based businesses, resources and services for great prices where vendors and buyers are all satisfied with the deal.

If you want to talk about a project send me a message on LinkedIn.

Like many people who live in Adelaide I spend a lot of time away. I visit Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne most months and get to Hobart, Perth and Canberra from time to time. Just because your project isn’t in Adelaide doesn’t mean I’m not interested in it!
